The Coolest Way to Hot Cocoa!

With the holidays and cold weather approaching, it’s time to stock up on your favorite hot chocolate blends for snow days and Christmas morning snuggling. Hot cocoa is such an easy thing to put together, and it’s also super inexpensive! You can even make your own and ditch the powdered stuff if you’re feeling ambitious. No matter what kind of hot chocolate your family prefers, a fun way to elevate a basic mug of this cozy beverage is by turning the experience into a whole DIY hot cocoa “charcuterie” board.
Providing my family with a large spread of ingredients and choices is my absolute favorite way to serve meals. It takes the pressure off of traditional plating and portions, allows everyone choice and freedom, and it’s just plain fun! This concept works wonderfully for dessert platters as well, and there’s no better opportunity to give it a try than with a hot cocoa board! It would be great for holiday parties, cozy family movie nights, coming in from playing in the snow snuggle time or honestly, anytime you want to indulge!
Here are some of our favorite components to create a hot cocoa board. But you have the option to add or omit whatever you’d like. Just make sure to have fun while indulging and creating yummy family memories while you mix and match your creations!
