Battlefield Country Store

May 26, 2021 05:00AM ● By Lenora Kruk-Mullanaphy

Reminiscent of an old-fashioned general store, a hub where people shopped and gathered for friendly conversation, the Battlefield Country Store is that and so much more. It’s an experience and a destination for the entire family. Stop in to shop for an eclectic variety of foods, browse through the home and garden décor, choose a picnic table to enjoy a meal, or test out one of the rocking chairs on the front porch.

The Battlefield Country Store features Amish-produced meats and cheeses in the deli, as well as baked goods, such as breads, cakes and cookies. Breakfast items include egg and cheese sandwiches that can be topped off with mouthwatering helpings of sausage, scrapple or bacon. Biscuits and gravy, a southern staple and favorite, is a tasty and filling choice. The lunch menu is chock-full of sandwiches that are made to order and sure to tempt every taste bud. For those who can’t get enough of the delicious home cooking, the Battlefield Country Store offers take out, platters and a catering menu to make the next gathering a hit.

There’s nothing like a freshly made bakery item for dessert or a decadent ice cream cone, sundae, banana split or milkshake. One of the biggest decisions you’ll make is what toppings to choose from—Snicker’s, Reese’s, honey-toasted cashews, Oreo, crushed pretzels, milk chocolate espresso beans and more. Take a stroll through the store for unique discoveries, including a variety of granolas and dried fruits, jellies, jams and baking items to bring home or as a thoughtful gift.

As a special perk, the premises has added the Battlefield Coffee Company Espresso Bar, which debuted in April. Customers can take home whole bean and ground coffee, order freshly roasted coffee online, and visit the Espresso Bar for hot and cold espresso drinks professionally roasted onsite and made fresh daily.
