Looking to replace the cabinets in the kitchen, add some new chairs and coffee tables to the living room, or find a bed to upgrade the old one? There’s no need to break the bank to update and accessorize the house when the Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity ReStore offers everything from furniture and lamps to artwork and hardware at a fraction of the cost. Tax-deductible donations are provided by local businesses and the surrounding community, and that means ReStore is able to bring the savings to shoppers.
Shopping at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore not only means amazing savings, but also a chance to contribute to building affordable housing in the Greater Fredericksburg area. All proceeds are funneled to this goal, making shopping for great deals rewarding.
If the idea of getting started on new projects around the house is enticing, you have the option to visit the store or shop online. Stay in the convenience of your home with the website’s Shop Online section, featuring photos, prices, the number of items in stock, as well as an online order and pay form.
A Donation Center is located at the back of ReStore and open from noon. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Before making the trip, check out what donations are accepted at fredrestore.org/what-we-accept or call the donation coordinator at 540-891-5009. For big items that won’t fit into a vehicle, ReStore offers a donation pickup service on weekdays. To schedule a pickup service, use the online form at fredrestore.org/free-donation-pickup, call the donation coordinator or email [email protected].
After starting as a yard sale in the late 1990s, ReStore moved to bigger spaces throughout the community before it made its home in the Gateway Shopping Center at 2378 Plank Road in Fredericksburg in 2015. For more information, visit fredrestore.org or call 540-891-5009.
