Need some new puzzles, games or books?   Check out The Shenandoah National Park bookstore ONLINE . We have a number of games, puzzles, and other items that would be great for any family.   The Shenandoah National Park Association (SNPA), a non-profit organization, supports the interpretive and educational activities of Shenandoah National Park.

Wonder Kits from Wiggle Worms

Educational play activities, crafts, STEM activities and more!  We are proud to offer two Wonder Kits - preschool and K-2. Each kit includes 5 age-appropriate educational materials and hands-on STEM activities. Follow along with us on our YouTube channel or Facebook (@Wiggle Worms FXBG) for live classes and demonstrations!

New kits are released on Monday’s... shipped on Wednesdays, picked up on Thursdays and Fridays... then it starts again with classes for your current box on Monday.

When Pigs Fly

When Pigs Fly is offering DIY Take & Make projects for curbside pick up! Projects you can make during lock down- all kinds of things for you and the kids to create and keep you busy! We have MANY projects to choose from, including Yard Jenga, Yardzee,  Cornhole sets- table top and regulation size,  Match Games, Book Box, Interchangeable Gnomes, Pucket game, Ring toss, wall signs for every room in the house and more!

Wine & Design

Wine & Design has gone Virtual! AND it's as easy as 1, 2 3!

1) Sign Up - Reserve Your Seat by the WEDNESDAY at 12 pm before your class, so we can prep your paint kit! Don't Wait, Class sizes will still be limited until we get the hang of this!

2) Pick Up - We are doing Curbside Pick up ONLY between 12 - 6 on Thursday & Friday prior to class.

3) Log On - We will send the ZOOM link to your class on Friday at 12 pm, and you will log on at your scheduled time over the weekend.

Online Self Defense Training - FREE!

We have an Online In-Home Self-Defense Training program for kids to keep them Healthy and Active while having a TON of Fun burning off their excess energy (so they don't drive you nuts at home)!

Here's everything included for FREE! 2-Weeks of Online In-Home Self-Defense Training LIVE Trainings that are recorded so you can do them on your schedule Kids will gain Confidence training at home

The free 2-week session runs from Apr 27-May 7 and meets Mon-Thu from 4-4:45 pm. Classes are for ages 5-12.

Empowerhouse

The Stafford County Sheriff's Office would like to remind the community that Empowerhouse is continuing to provide support for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Their 24-hour Hotline remains open for services and information, and advocates are available to speak with callers.

Please call their Hotline at 540-373-9373 for assistance and further information.


Errands for the Elderly

Team Pohanka Nissan has just launched a new program, Errands for the Elderly! If you or a loved one are considered high-risk and are unable to leave your home, we are offering completely free services to help you get essential supplies. (This applies to anyone who is considered high-risk, regardless of age).

We can assist with automotive service pickup and drop off, grocery pickup, and pharmacy pickup of any medical supplies needed any time M-F from 9 am-5 pm.

The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region Relief Fun

The Community Foundation's Community Relief Fund is now accepting applications for immediate relief projects. These grants ensure rapid funding for organizations on the front lines meeting basic needs for those affected by the pandemic. This critical funding will enable nonprofits to maintain operations and support the increased demand for services.

Requests are being considered on a rolling weekly basis for immediate relief funding needs between now and June 30th, 2020.
