Banking That Meets You Where You Are

Community Bank of the Chesapeake is constantly innovating to deliver a banking experience that pairs sophisticated technology with a personal touch

When it comes to banking, it turns out you can have it all.

Community Bank of the Chesapeake provides online banking services, mortgage lending, credit cards and personal and business banking solutions you’d find with a larger bank. But as a community bank, we know how important it is to maintain that personal, hometown touch that makes living in the Fredericksburg community so enjoyable.

We’re excited to announce that you can now find our services in two locations in this region.

Come visit us at our newest branch in the Harrison Crossing Shopping Center, at 5831 Plank Rd., in Spotsylvania County. Our community banking team is here to help you with all of your banking needs, both here and in our Downtown Fredericksburg branch at 425 William Street.

Community Bank of the Chesapeake home lending: A community partner to help guide you home

In today’s red-hot housing market, almost nothing about the home-buying process is easy. Getting a mortgage doesn’t need to add to that stress.

Community Bank of the Chesapeake has designed a mortgage process that makes it easier than ever to find home financing that fits your specific needs. We start with an easy online application that allows you to track your loan application in real-time through a customized dashboard.

Our local lending team can walk you through the process to help answer your questions and find the best option for your family’s financial needs. Their knowledge of how to navigate changing mortgage rates and local market dynamics makes them an invaluable resource in this important journey.

We have a wide array of home lending options, including HELOC’s, fixed and adjustable rates, jumbo portfolio loans, as well as custom solutions for unique properties, second homes, first-time homebuyers and more.

Connect with us to discover the best way to leverage the equity in your home – whether through a home equity line of credit or mortgage.

Interactive Teller Machines: One more tool to serve your banking needs

Customers love Community Bank of the Chesapeake because we offer a robust and user-friendly online banking experience, but we back it up with a level of personalized service that only a community bank can provide.

With the addition of three interactive teller machines (ITMs) at our new Harrison Crossing branch, we’re giving customers one more option. ITMs are a secure, convenient and contactless way to bank. They offer greater transaction capabilities than an ATM, with quick service, extended hours and convenience that fits into a busy modern lifestyle.

While these are an added option, ITMs do not replace the face-to-face service customers have come to expect at our branches.

Stop in and ask us about:

Credit cards

Our personal and business credit cards offer competitive rates and the ability to earn cash back—including double rewards at the local merchants in our Community Perks program. They are backed up with local customer service, just like everything else we do. Visit cbtc.com/creditcards/consumer to get started.

Teen Checking Accounts

Make sure they’re ready to get that first paycheck by helping your teen set up a Checking Perks Teen Account. These accounts are for children ages 13 through 17. They have no monthly balance requirement and give your teen the freedom to learn about money management with the safety of a joint account. Access to tools like online and mobile banking, e-statements, mobile alerts, a debit card and mobile wallet will help your teen learn the ropes of modern banking before they’re out on their own. A legal guardian must be included on the account.

We’re here to help! Come see us in our two Fredericksburg area branches, or 24 hours a day at cbtc.com.
