FREDERICKSBURG, VA to Participate in Postpartum Progress' Global Climb Out of the Darkness TOMORROW
Team Fredericksburg members join more than 2,100 Climbers worldwide to bring awareness to maternal mental health illnesses
June 19, 2015 – FREDERICKSBURG, VA
WHO: Team Fredericksburg is made up of local survivors of maternal mental health illnesses such as postpartum depression, anxiety and more, and the friends, family and community members who support them.
WHAT: Team Fredericksburg's local Climb Out of the Darkness event will raise awareness of, and reduce the stigma associated with, these maternal mental health conditions. The global goal for Postpartum Progress' Climb Out of the Darkness is $200,000, and we are currently at $195,475, or 98% of that goal.
At our Climb, team members will enjoy a BYO picnic lunch before we take a walk on the bike path that runs alongside Alum Springs Park.
WHERE: Alum Springs Park, Greenbrier Dr., Fredericksburg, VA 22401
