St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival. Mar 17. 12 - 4 pm. The 16th Annual Jeff Fitzpatrick St. Patrick's Day Parade starts off at NOON, includes fire trucks, classic cars, high school marching band, community organizations, Irish dancers, horses, military equipment and local pageant winners. The parade ends at A. Smith Bowman Distillery, where we will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Festival including local vendors, live music and entertainment, family-friendly activities, food from local food trucks, and of course, plenty of beer. Children's Easter Egg Drop. Mar 25. 1 - 4 pm. This year Morais Vineyards is bringing you and your children an Easter Egg Helicopter Drop! A helicopter will fly over the field on the property and drop over 3,000 marshmallows. Once the helicopter flies away, children will race in the age appropriate zones and collect as many marshmallows as they can grab. Your children will then trade in their marshmallows for prizes! Spring Forward Festival. Apr 8. 1 - 4 pm. Children and their families are invited to spend the afternoon on Brompton Lawn at UMW. Event includes spring related crafts, games, and a large egg hunt. The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade. April 14. 10 am - 12 pm. One of DC's largest spectator events, the energy-filled Parade runs along Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th streets, NW. Vibrant costumes and blossom-inspired décor create the look of nation's premier springtime parade. Giant colorful helium balloons, elaborate floats, celebrity entertainers, marching bands from across the country, and performers burst down Constitution Avenue in a grand spectacle of music and showmanship seen only once a year during the Festival. Cost: Starting at $20 for Grandstand Seating. Standing along the Parade route from Constitution Ave between 9th and 15th streets, NW is FREE and open to the public. 

Earth Day On the Rappahannock. April 21. 11 am - 4 pm. Enjoy the 15th annual Earth Day Festival along the beautiful Rappahannock River! We’ll have dozens of environmental exhibitors, live music, great food, birds of prey, hands-on activities, and so much more for the entire family!
