Rain in Style

Hey everyone! How can it possibly be that Thanksgiving has already come and gone? I admit that I’ve been a bit preoccupied with my photography clients, but man...it’s like I blinked and now it’s Christmas time. Ok ok, I admit, I started decorating for Christmas soon after Halloween. LOL. Maybe I’m the one to blame for that crazy snow/ice/whatever storm we had recently. Ya know, because the weather was just trying to be festive with me. It got into the Christmas spirit.

Speaking of Christmas, what is on your wish list this year? If you need ideas, here’s what’s on mine! First, let me say, that the majority of my wish list is fitness related. I’ll post a screen shot of my list on amazon.

Besides that, the style items that are on my wish list are below. I admit, I’ve already bought a good many of these to have my husband and kids give to me. He sets up a little “store” for them and they get to pick from a few items to give to me at Christmas. It works out well; they always get very excited, and I don’t end up with crazy items like a bright pink unitard, or a blinking snowman and Santa Christmas sweater...with matching reindeer nose. Oh, it’s the thought that counts? Well, I consider this quality control and guiding their future thoughts in the right direction.

First up, more Nickel and Suede earrings. If you don’t have a pair of these yet, try them! I’m so totally obsessed, but y’all know this. Find these and so many more beautiful designs and colors, here

Next, these duck boots from Eddie Bauer, find them here. I’ve been wanting a pair forever to wear whole photographing on location when it’s cold outside. I finally got tired of my feet freezing to the point of pain and ordered them. I even got them at 50% off because I signed up for their emails. Winning!

And with the duck boots, I needed warmer socks. Let me just tell you, if you work outside during the early morning hours in the fall/winter...you need warm socks. I learned the hard way. I ordered these from Amazon, with the recommendation from a friend. Here's to warm happy feet! Find them here. Does getting excited about getting socks for Christmas mean I am old? LOL.

I also have quite a few things from American Eagle on my wish list. Currently, I am obsessed with their high rise jeggings! The Dream Jean High Waisted Jegging to be exact, find them here. If you haven't tried American Eagle denim...you should. I like their jeggings because they fit tight at your ankles, which makes them perfect for tucking into boots.

And, I have a few things from Nordstrom, they are currently having a sale...and y'all... look

Ok, you're right, I don't need more shoes. However, these have my name written all over them. Only the black ones are on sale, but they come in red too! Perfect punch of edge. Find them here. I am also ordering this Teddy fleece jacket. I wanted the light brown color, but this burgundy color will work too. Hopefully, it will be a good casual layer to go with my duck boots. Find it here.
