What does Spotsylvania Towne Centre have in store for the holidays?
We have a ton of FREE events for families! We’ve invited B101.5 back this year to host its laser show in the building across from Sephora. This year we’ve been partnering with 93.3 WFLS to bring an iceless ice skating rink several times throughout the holiday season. Thunder 104.5 will host four holiday concerts on The Green, near Sephora. Check out our Facebook page for a complete list of events.

The last day to see the Concert in Lights is December 24, at 5:30 pm.
When is the best time to visit Santa at Spotsylvania Towne Centre?
The line for Santa is pretty short during the weekday and weeknight hours. Santa is here ALL WEEK LONG! We will post his hours and pricing sheet on our Facebook page under Events: Santa Photos.

What is on your must-have list for moms and dads this year?
You can find the perfect fragrance for mom or dad at Sephora. They have a fragrance match program. Based on your parent’s preferences, like outdoorsy or city life, it can pinpoint what fragrance they will like best!
For mom, you cannot go wrong with boots and we have some of the best boot selections in town. From Macy’s to Belk to Saxon Shoes and Shoe Dept, you can find the perfect style for moms.
Dads love gadgets and a Fitbit is one of the coolest health-conscious gadgets on the market. You can get them at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
What is your advice for picking out a gift for a difficult to shop for person?
I think the best gift for a difficult person to shop for is a mall gift card. The card is good at nearly all of our stores! Your friend or family member can shop where they want!
What would make a great teacher gift for Christmas?
We have a new kiosk called Pineapple Posh. They have stylish travel bags, market baskets, duffels, totes, cosmetic cases, bows, headbands, baby items, scarves, hats and other apparel. They then personalize each item with a monogram or name, which is included in the price. It’s perfect for any teacher! Another great teacher present is a Starbucks travel mug with a gift card inside. Things Remembered offers great gifts that you can personalize for your favorite teacher.
Any tips for last minute shoppers?
Shop early morning rather than late night! The later in the day, the busier the mall gets. Our hours start adjusting on Thanksgiving, so check out our calendar on our website. Some mornings we open as early as 7:00 am!
What advice do you have for making a gift-card feel personal?
You need to treat it like a wrapped gift! Go to Michaels and find a unique way to package the card. They have decorative Chinese food boxes that are really adorable. Throw some colorful shredded paper in it and you’ve just spruced up your gift card!
Can you give us a few hostess gift ideas?
Costco has a vast selection of wine. You can put together a hostess gift basket at Kitchen Collection with assorted kitchen gadgets and spices. I also think anything comfy or fuzzy is appreciated. You can get a cute mug or wine glass from Virginia Diner Shoppe, then visit JCPenney and fill it with slipper socks and fuzzy gloves.
