About Leigha

Leigha Pecher (Calendar Editor) is probably best known for her weekly “Cool Stuff To Do” E-newsletter. Originally from Boston, MA, Leigha came to the NoVa area to pursue her career in federal law enforcement in 2001. A former U.S. Capitol Police Special Agent and Intelligence Analyst turned stay-at-home mom, Leigha now happily works part-time from her home office while taking care of her two spirited young boys, Luke and Jacob. Their endless energy keeps her on the go and finding fun events to bring them to helps tremendously with her current job at FP. The ‘Burg is now “home” for Leigha and her family, although she remains a staunch New England Patriots fan. She can be reached at Leigha@fredericksburgparent
