Come on out to Snead's Asparagus Farm where you and your family can pet animals on a working farm setting, hike trails, swing on rope swings, find your way through a corn maze and pick your own pumpkins! Round Hill Farm. A tractor-drawn hayride carries your family or group to the Pumpkin Patch. Pick-your-own or select from pre-picked pumpkins at the farms open-air market. Fall Festivals:

harvest-festFredericksburg Harvest Festival. Oct 6, 10am - 2pm. Celebrate the beginning of Fall at the extended Farmer's Market. We will have a pumpkin patch, moon bounce, children's activities, face painting, pie contest, pumpkin carving contest and a hay maze for the kids! Plus the extended Farmer's Market, which means more vendors, more great products, more space to shop and more fun for you and your family. FREE to attend. Hurkamp Park.

Fredericksburg Area Wine Festival. Oct 6 (11am - 5pm) & Oct 7 (12pm - 5pm). Each year the festival is made up of the six ownership wineries and two guest wineries which offer over 100 varieties of Virginia's award winning wines for you to sample and purchase. The festival also offers a beer garden with some of Blue and Gray Brewery's fine local beer and ales. Other activities include: food vendors, specialty crafts, a barrel train, face painting, live music and more. You are more than welcome to purchase your bottle of wine, something to snack on and have a picnic under the majestic trees that border the Rappahannock River. 33rd Harvest Celebration @ Ingleside Plantation Winery. Oct 20, 11am - 4pm. Winemaking demos, take a tour of Ingleside's vineyards and winery, enjoy artwork, crafts, exhibits and delicious food. 23rd Annual Harvest Festival in Bowling Green. Oct 20, 9am - 4pm. Live music all day long from local talent. Children's activities include face painting, pumpkin painting, a petting zoo, and clown entertainment. Harvest Festival @ Hartwood Winery. Oct 27, 11am - 5pm. Join Hartwood Winery and guest Rogers Ford Winery to sample the harvested fruits of the vine and usher in the winter air. Fall Harvest Family Days @ Mt. Vernon. Oct 27, 28, 9am - 5pm. The entire family enjoys autumn activities including wagon rides, wheat treading in the 16-sided barn, 18th-century dancing demos, a straw bale maze, farrier (blacksmithing) demonstrations, apple-roasting, corn husk dolls demonstrations and early-American games and music. Fredericksburg Fall Family Festival. Oct 28, 3pm - 6pm. Join Spotswood Baptist Church and the Spotsylvania Towne Centre for fun and excitement! It's the 3rd annual Fredericksburg Fall Family Festival Sunday, Sponsored by Thunder 104.5 at the Towne Centre! Activities include hay rides, huge inflatable's, carnival games and a petting zoo. Belvedere Plantation Fall Festival Finale. Nov 2( 5pm - 10pm); Nov 3 (10am - 10pm) and Nov 4: (10am - 4pm). It's your last chance to visit Belvedere Plantation before we close for the winter! And we have a great line-up of entertainment and activities — don't miss our new Pumpkin Smash competition! Reduced Farm Admission for Fall Finale is $11 (children two and under admitted free). Air & Scare. Oct 27, 2pm - 8pm. Our annual Halloween event features the spooky side of air and space at the Air and Space Museum; Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly. Each year, people arrive in costume for safe indoor trick-or-treating. They participate in creepy crafts, spooky science experiments, and other Halloween-themed activities.
