Thrive is offering a series of 6 yoga classes specifically designed for larger bodies, and 4 workshops to promote health and wellness! Workshops will focus on stress management, nutrition, healing touch, and a special "feel good" event for you and your fellow classmates to celebrate your journey toward self care and empowerment.
Classes are respectful and also fun and light-hearted. We enjoy and feel grateful for what our beautiful bodies can do, and leave class feeling refreshed and relaxed. The instructor, Holley, provides individual support and props, such as chairs, blocks, straps and the wall to help make each pose comfortable for you. We emphasize doing only what is comfortable for our bodies on any given day.
Practicing yoga helps foster acceptance and love for our bodies. We start to become more comfortable in our own skin. Yoga is a gift we all deserve, no matter our size. I invite you to come give this beautiful practice a try! It can change your life.
