25 30 Espresso is best known for its dedication to an amazing cup of coffee. They only serve coffee from Counter Culture Coffee, which only purchases beans from farms that practice sustainable, organic farming. Per the 25 30 Espresso website, “Our love for coffee starts with our interest in the coffee bean itself. We as a shop learn as much as we can about the coffee: where it comes from, how to brew it to make it taste the best. We love to brew coffee and share it with others.”

25 30 Espresso loves to share its coffee knowledge with the community. Have a question? Ask any of their knowledgeable staff. They also offer Home Brew Hand pour classes at various times (follow them on social media for updates), which would make a great date night!

They also have a bathroom large enough for a stroller (side-by-side doubles may have a bit of trouble with the door).

25 30 Espresso offers a variety of milk options: almond milk, soy milk, organic whole milk, etc. For the little ones, 25 30 Espresso has delicious smoothies, a variety of juices and of course huge cookies. Another advantage is the small parking lot behind the shop and off street parking.

Above all else, 25 30 Espresso is a Family Favorite because of its wonderful, friendly staff. The crew is great with kids, eager to help, passionate about coffee and the community, and are always up for conversation. This is the perfect place for a new mom to relax and get out of the house, a place to stop and get an iced coffee or smoothie on a hot day, and a nice place to meet up with a friend while your kids play quietly.

As always, try to be respectful of the patrons who are there working, studying or just doing the crossword puzzle. 25 30 Espresso is absolutely a Family Favorite.

Pouches' Community Corner

Adoptive parents in Fredericksburg now have a new partner on their journey to a healthy family. In 2016, Children’s Home Society was awarded a $125,000 grant from the Virginia Department of Social Services to extend their Richmond area post-adoptive services to the Fredericksburg area.

Now CHS is looking to find adoptive families in the area who need support before they hit a crisis point. “It doesn’t matter which agency they adopted from, or when that happened,” said Buckheit. “We want to offer a lifetime of support to adoptive families in the Fredericksburg area, especially those who haven’t been aware of our services in the past.”
