Huber Motor Cars Fredericksburg Christmas Parade Registration Filling Up

The 2016 Huber Motor Cars Fredericksburg Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 3, beginning at 5:30. This year's theme is "Sights & Sounds of Christmas."

Registration for the parade has only been open since May 1 and has already reached ¼ of its maximum capacity of 100 floats. Registration is open now until September 30 OR when the 100 entry max is reached, whichever comes first.

In an effort to improve judging, we have made some changes to the categories including a scout troop category, combining Majorettes, Cheerleaders and Gymnastics groups under “Dance” as well as combining all animal groups including equestrian under one category.
Also new this year is a special fee for school-sponsored groups. Registration in this category is subject to verification by school officials.
All fees will once again go towards the Fraternal Order of Police #15 Cops and Kids Project as well as community programs.
Visit to get your entry form filled out today.

Fredericksburg Parks & Recreation is the main point of contact for the parade. They can be reached at 540-372-1086 or at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. They are open Monday-Thursday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-4pm and closed Saturday and Sunday. Administrative offices have different hours of operation however; the front desk can assist you in person with general questions.
We look forward to you participating another year in this fabulous community event that was voted "Best Community Event" in the Free Lance-Star Readers' Choice Survey 2015!

The foundation has helped 44 hospitals in 22 states through their Treasured Memories program. The program sends nurses to bereavement training, and provides or supplements the $55 memory boxes that include clothes, booties, handknot blankets, pictures, foot prints, hand prints, clipped hair and other mementos.
