Hot off the Press

The Teen Alliance for Safe Swimming at Mountain View High School was founded by junior, Katie Sell and is sponsored by Lauren Puglia who is the swim coach and a teacher at Mountain View High School. Katie founded the club out of a desire to promote water safety for children, especially as the summer months approach. She is a lifeguard and a year round swimmer who finds that these skills are necessary for kids to know to reduce drowning occurrences. The club consists of 10 students and hopes to grow and work with local elementary schools in the future.
