Grow For Your Neighbor

The Grow For Your Neighbor kick off event and garden distribution on May 3rd is quickly approaching, and we have many garden kits available, and numerous open slots for The Square Foot Gardening Foundations Square Foot Gardening Instructor Certification Course on May 5th and 6th from 5:30 to 8pm.

kids 600 x 400 The kits include a 4x4 cedar garden box, 5 bags of square foot garden soil, weed mat, SFG grid and several plants for $66.40 donation. This is priced at cost, and is a significant savings over retail.

The SFG Instructor's Certification course is $120 donation, and is open to all who are interested. This class satisfies continuing education requirements for Master Gardeners, and is an intensive study of the Square Foot Gardening Method.

GFYN would also like to provide garden kits and instruction to families in need. If you know of an individual, church, club or business willing to donate one or more garden kits so that we may enable local families to grow for themselves, please tell them about our program.

Please visit http://www.growforyourneighbor.com/ to learn more about our program, reserve a garden kit, make a donation, or register for the Square Foot Gardening Instructor Certification Class.
