Please join us the next four Thursdays, (March 27 through April 17th) for "ENJOY! Tipping for a Cause" on the rooftop at Vivify from 5p to 8p. "ENJOY! Tipping for a Cause" is a Bridge the Gap Fundraiser for Bridgid Blakesley.

Each week, there will be a different "crew" behind the bar....from local commercial real estate brokers, and community leaders to the Wack Family and area government contractors...There will surely be some heckling going on! We invite you to join us for some good laughs for a great cause. After all, how many times have you seen Xavier Richardson, Jud Honaker, Dori Eglevsky and Tom Wack slinging drinks?? All tips will go directly to aid the Blakesley family in their fight as Fredericksburg resident, mother, wife, friend and personal chef Bridgid Blakesley was diagnosed with brain cancer in September 2013.

Once the "celebrities" have gone back to their day jobs, you can kick up your heels at an evening to remember. ENJOY! Music*Food*Community on June 20th at the Old Silk Mill featuring great music by Love Cannon, libations, festive foods and more. Tickets will be on sale shortly!

These events are being executed by "Bridge the Gap" a local charity (in formation) that is being started to help families just like the Blakesleys. Being a part of this community is something special where people come together in times of need and do what they can to support one another.

Pouches' Community Corner

St Baldrick’s Foundation began in 2000 over a simple idea – shave a colleague’s beautiful hair while also raising money for kids with cancer. And now this Foundation has funded over $200 million worth of research to cure pediatric
cancer. In 2015, the FDA approved a treatment that offers a higher chance of a cure for high-risk neuroblastoma patients because of that research.
