Learn about college admission directly from admission professionals at selective private and public institutions in the Commonwealth. Experts from the College of William and Mary, University of Richmond, University of Virginia, and University of Mary Washington will share insights into the following topics:


• The College Search
• The Selective Admissions Process
• The Power of the College Essay
• Financial Aid and Scholarships


This program, co-sponsored by the Commonwealth Governor's School (but not JUST for CGS students), is designed for college-bound high-school students and their parents and will be held on the Fredericksburg campus of the University of Mary Washington in George Washington Hall, Dodd Auditorium. Parking is available in the George Washington lot, Double Drive, and along College Avenue. Visit the UMW website for directions.
