Organizing Through Life

File It Away then Put it On the Cloud

Do you get stuck in your paperwork trying to figure out how to file it away? I ran across lots and lots of people who had this struggle and needed a quick and easy solution to handle the enormous amount of paperwork that they receive every day.

Paperwork is one of the largest daily struggles in every home and office. Even though we still do a lot of bill paying, etc. online and we can try to eliminate the amount of paperwork that actually comes to the mailbox, the junk mail seems to take control.

This is why I fell in love and share my filing system called Find It, File It…Fast!

One of the best things that we can do for ourselves and our business is to streamline our systems. (This is also a great habit to teach our children). The File It, Find It…Fast System allows you to do just that. It is a simple, easy and portable system for you to track all of your paperwork that comes into the house or office. It also is a tool to help teach you the habit of keeping all of your paperwork organized.

The system is designed to be quick, easy and transferrable.  In my world, this means that my husband can use it too! It just didn’t make sense to me to come up with a system that only I can understand. Because what would happen if I were to be sick or go out of town? I don’t want to come home to a kitchen table or desk piled high with an entire week’s mail. (Watch me smile while I dream of a week- long get-away!).

The other aspect of handling paperwork is not just filing it away, but being able to find it when you need it! Not everyone has room in their home of office to keep a filing cabinet! This is where storing the information on the Cloud can also be helpful.

So, I take the information from my portable File It, Find It…Fast System and scan it into my Cloud system called MobilLogic. It is quick, easy, pain free and I can feel confident shredding paperwork (if I want). The best part about making the transfer from paper to the Cloud is that I have the information with me everywhere I go!

MobilLogic is android and apple compatible and I have access to all of my information quickly. It also allows me to store the information logically, the way that I think, instead of using a system that is designed through the eyes of the developer. The best part, is that it does the searching for me! I tag the my documents and information when I enter it into the MobilLogic system and it is just like having my own personal secretary search for the information. It is as simple as point and click!

One thing to remember, don’t forget that if you should not shred all paperwork. You will always need to keep your original Military DD214, Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, Military medical records, Life Insurance Policies, etc.

St Baldrick’s Foundation began in 2000 over a simple idea – shave a colleague’s beautiful hair while also raising money for kids with cancer. And now this Foundation has funded over $200 million worth of research to cure pediatric
cancer. In 2015, the FDA approved a treatment that offers a higher chance of a cure for high-risk neuroblastoma patients because of that research.
